Surga – Handwoven Rattan Wall Basket Ø50 cm

Decorative Rattan Wall Art with a Striking Star Design

Add a distinctive graphic accent to your interior with Surga, a handcrafted wall basket from Java, Indonesia. Featuring a bold five-pointed star motif in natural and dark brown tones, this decorative piece combines traditional Indonesian weaving techniques with a contemporary bohemian aesthetic.

Carefully handwoven from natural rattan, Surga showcases the warmth and organic texture of this versatile material. The intricate concentric weaving forms a striking geometric star pattern, creating a beautiful contrast between the natural background and darker detailing.

With its 50 cm diameter, Surga makes an eye-catching focal point without overwhelming your space. Display it above a sofa, in a hallway or bedroom, or combine it with other woven wall baskets to create a personalised gallery wall. Its balanced colour palette and graphic design complement boho, Ibiza-style, Mediterranean, coastal and contemporary interiors.

Each Surga wall basket is individually handmade by skilled artisans in Java. Subtle variations in colour, texture and shape are a natural part of the weaving process, giving every piece its own authentic character.

A practical hanging loop on the back makes Surga easy to display. Its shallow profile allows it to sit neatly against the wall, bringing visual interest and depth without taking up valuable space.

Combining natural materials, geometric design and traditional craftsmanship, Surga adds warmth, personality and an unexpected artistic touch to your home.
