Salvia – Handwoven Mendong Wall Basket Ø50 cm

Floral-Inspired Wall Décor with Delicate White Detailing

Bring natural texture and artistic expression into your home with Salvia, a handcrafted wall basket from Bali. Featuring an intricate floral-inspired pattern in warm earthy brown and contrasting white, this decorative piece combines traditional Indonesian weaving with a contemporary bohemian aesthetic.

Carefully handwoven from natural mendong fiber, Salvia showcases the organic beauty of this traditional Indonesian weaving material. Its finely textured surface is enhanced by delicate white lines radiating from the centre, creating a striking botanical motif with an almost lace-like appearance.

With its 50 cm diameter, Salvia makes an elegant focal point above a console table, in a living room or bedroom, or as part of a curated arrangement of woven wall baskets. Its neutral palette and expressive pattern complement boho, Ibiza-style, Mediterranean, coastal and Scandinavian interiors.

Each piece is individually handcrafted by skilled Balinese artisans, resulting in subtle variations in colour, texture and shape. These natural differences reflect the authenticity of the weaving process and give every Salvia wall basket its own unique character.

Combining organic materials, delicate geometric detailing and traditional craftsmanship, Salvia adds warmth, depth and an understated artistic touch to your walls.
